What peptide therapy is

A regulated, evolving area of medicine. Not a shortcut.

Peptides are short chains of amino acids your body already uses to signal cell activity. A small number are available as compounded medications through licensed pharmacies, under a prescription.

Sermorelin is the one molecule we name here, because it is the one with a published clinical history behind it. Which peptides can lawfully be compounded changes as the FDA reviews new evidence, so we will not publish a fixed menu, and we will not describe compounds whose human safety data is thin.

What sermorelin is not
  • It is not synthetic human growth hormone, and that distinction matters more than any marketing line
  • It is not a fat loss drug, a muscle builder, or an anti-aging product, and no honest clinic will describe it that way
A signal, not a supply Short chains of amino acids your body already uses to signal cell activity. Sermorelin prompts your own pituitary rather than adding hormone from outside.
Prescription only A small number are available as compounded medications through licensed pharmacies, under a prescription. Nothing is sold at the club.
Read from a baseline Growth hormone releases in pulses, so a single draw mostly tells you what time it was taken. IGF-1 is steadier, and it is what a plan gets measured against.
Where the evidence stops Effects on body composition are reasonably consistent. Long-term data on fracture, cancer, cardiovascular outcomes and life expectancy is not there yet.
What the research supports

The evidence, including where it runs out.

The reason this comes up in adult health is a documented pattern: growth hormone output declines with age, mostly through smaller nighttime pulses rather than fewer of them. Some of what people notice in their thirties and forties, shifting body composition and lower energy, resembles what is seen in diagnosed adult growth hormone deficiency.

The part most marketing leaves out is how much is still unsettled. The effect on body composition is reasonably consistent; the effect on physical and cognitive performance is not, and long-term data on fracture risk, cancer risk, cardiovascular outcomes and life expectancy is not there yet. Any clinic promising you a certain outcome is promising something the research does not currently support.

How WLF approaches it

Evaluation first. Provider-supervised. Every time.

The labs come first because there is no other honest starting point. IGF-1 is the steady marker that reads this axis over time, and without a baseline there is nothing to measure a change against.

The evaluation

You meet with a licensed provider who reviews your history, your goals, and relevant labs. Nothing is prescribed at this stage. This is where we find out whether peptide therapy is even a reasonable option for you.

The prescriber’s call

Where peptide therapy is appropriate, it is prescribed and monitored by our medical team, not by WLF’s chiropractic staff. Chiropractic care and peptide therapy are separate clinical lanes at WLF, run by separate licensed providers.

The follow-through

If a peptide is prescribed, follow-up and monitoring are part of the plan, not a one-time transaction.

What the evaluation includes
  • A conversation about symptoms, goals, sleep, training history and current medications, not a form rushed through at a front desk
  • Bloodwork that includes IGF-1 alongside the other markers relevant to your hormone and metabolic picture, never one number read in isolation
  • A review by our medical team, who decide whether sermorelin, something else, or nothing at all is the next step
  • An honest no when a no is the right answer

What this is. And what it is not.

This is
  • A clinical evaluation with a licensed provider, built on your history and labs
  • An honest answer, including “this is not the right fit right now”
  • Monitoring that continues after any prescription
This is not
  • A place to order a specific peptide by name
  • A menu of molecules with prices
  • A one-time transaction

Who it tends to fit. An adult, usually well into their thirties or older, noticing the ordinary changes that come with age: energy that no longer bounces back overnight, recovery that takes longer than it used to, or a shift in body composition that training alone has not moved.

Who decides. Our medical team, case by case, after bloodwork and a full history review. This is not a shortcut past the training and recovery work, and it is not presented to members here as one.

Safety and legal information

The disclaimers that matter here.

  • Compounded peptide medications are not FDA-approved as finished drug products.
  • Peptide therapy is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
  • Individual results vary. No outcome is guaranteed.
  • Not everyone is a candidate. Age alone does not qualify anyone, and neither do symptoms alone; that determination is made case by case after labs and a full history review.
  • A consultation and clinical evaluation with a licensed provider is required before any peptide therapy is considered. Nothing on this page is a prescription, an offer to sell a specific medication, or medical advice.
  • WLF Club’s chiropractic staff do not prescribe peptide therapy. Any prescribing is handled by our medical team, following a good-faith clinical evaluation.
Questions we actually get

Asked and answered.

Do you sell peptides online or over the counter?

No. WLF Club does not sell peptides directly, online, or without a prescription. Peptide therapy is available only through a consultation with a licensed prescribing provider, following a clinical evaluation.

Is sermorelin the same thing as HGH?

No. Human growth hormone, HGH, is the hormone itself. Sermorelin is a different molecule that prompts your own pituitary gland to release more of your own growth hormone, rather than adding hormone from an outside source.

Is peptide therapy only for athletes?

No. Most adults who look into it are noticing ordinary age-related changes in energy, recovery, or body composition rather than chasing an athletic edge. The evaluation process is the same either way.

Is peptide therapy available to everyone?

No. It depends on your history, your labs, and what a licensed provider determines is appropriate and lawfully available at the time of your consult. Not everyone who asks will be a fit, and we will tell you directly if that is the case.

What peptides does WLF Club offer?

We do not publish a fixed list, because what can be lawfully compounded and prescribed changes as FDA guidance evolves. Sermorelin has a longer track record. What is appropriate for you, and what is lawfully available, is a conversation for your consultation.

Will I get a prescription at my first visit?

Not automatically. The first visit is an evaluation. If peptide therapy is appropriate for you, next steps are discussed at that point, and any prescribing follows a good-faith clinical exam by the licensed provider.
